The unique profile of this retractable banner stand is composed of powder coated steel end-plates supporting an anodized aluminum graphic tube. It’s available in 3 widths, 24”, 36” or 48”, single or double sided. Replacement Banners are user replaceable and can be purchased anytime without needing to ship the hardware. The top and bottom of the banner attach to the hardware with Velcro so field sales people can change their own banners and reuse previous ones. The three section telescoping pole can be set for any banner height from 36” to 96” (96” is taller than any other stand unless you buy additional pole sections). Infinite height adjustment means flexible design specs for multiple usable heights within the same banner. Use it both on the floor and on a table top, low ceilings or high. And here is a feature unique to this stand: the retractor mechanism works like a window shade, locking in place when roll-up motion stops. This means the unit can be hung on walls or from ceilings and used without the pole (special brackets required – call for details). This unit comes with a black carry bag and is shipped in a reusable cardboard box. One last detail, because our product is U.S. made (including the large format printing required for the banner), all the steps taken in its manufacturing conform to U.S. standards for pollution controls. So this U.S. choice is also the Greener choice.
Here is a description of our three banner media choices:
Vinyl is our most economical banner material. It is printed with UV inks on our VuTek. The vinyl is a smooth 13oz stay flat with a built-in light block. UV ink is very durable without lamination.
Premium Latex is printed on a state of the art HP R2000 so you’ll get the best inkjet quality available on the market. The heads are 720 dpi native resolution so even 9pt copy reproduces with great readability. It prints 6 colors (C M Y K LC LM) with 3 gray levels and will reproduce smooth variations in light tone areas. Fleshtones and foods are when you will really see the difference. The Premium Latex stock is a 7mil polyester film, almost impossible to tear and sports a near matte finish so images look great without glare.
Fabric printing is done via dye-sublimation transfer on 100% polyester wrinkle resistant knit. It is certified as flame retardant. Dye sub transfer is higher quality than dye-sub direct printing in both color saturation and detail. If you are looking for a softer look or need incredible color, fabric is the way to go. The range of color available in our dye-sub printing is greater than any other digital printing method in the market.

We include a PDF proof at no charge. We will deliver the proof back to you via email within 24hrs of your order. This proof must be approved to start production of your graphic.
HARD PROOFS AND COLOR MATCHING
The best way to insure color fidelity when matching a particular color is essential is to request a hard proof recorded on the media the graphic will be produced on. You will be able to choose this option, for additional charge, at checkout. The proof price includes free ground shipping to your site. Faster shipping can be done at additional charge. Please call for arrangements for faster hard proof shipping. Hard proofs add 24hrs in house to proof turnaround time.
FILE PREPARATION AND PANTONE COLOR MATCHING
We calibrate only Solid Pantone Coated Colors. This does not include blends or screen %. The best way to prepare your graphic files when using Pantone colors is to leave the colors as “spot colors” referencing the specific Pantone colors you want. Do NOT convert colors to CMYK. Our system will substitute the closest color values available for the print media you have chosen to simulate your colors. The way to determine if the colors available are “close enough” is to request a hard proof recorded on the media the subject will be printed on as recommended above. Benchmark maintains a fully color managed workflow using state of the art spectrophotometric analyzers and calibrations. When an order is placed you receive an email that includes a link to the UPLOAD FILES page. You can forward this to your designer or someone else to have them upload files for you.
When Uploading files, be sure to keep the browser window open until the system notifies you that the upload is complete. After completion, the system will send the person uploading an email summarizing the files received and notify Benchmark your files are available.
