Rauland Borg, an integrated communications technology company headquartered in Mount Prospect, IL is the home of one of Benchmark’s latest interior graphics projects.  Rauland hired Breirton Design to create a visual display and put their office walls to work.  The colors chosen were Rauland’s signature blue and green which reinforce the company identity strived for in it’s collateral materials.

Focusing on Rauland’s core values, Teresa Reinalda, of Brierton came up with a great display and enlivened the company’s existing space .  Using Benchmark, she created large vinyl letters that span  the largest wall of the building (about 300 feet).  The words stand out nicely on the white walls.  More compositions were created for a smaller room.  Both displays grab a viewer’s attention as soon as they enter the room!

Using Benchmark’s quality installation team, the words were positioned with care.  Pieces were measured and re-measured to make sure they were absolutely straight.  The vinyl word art is a permanent installation, so higher end vinyls were used to create a great look for years to come.

The great thing about vinyl pieces is that large pieces of the design deliver on a release liner.  This means that you can temporarily apply the graphics, step back and see if you like where the graphic is placed, and then re-place as necessary.  Once the placement is good, the release liner can come off.  The graphic is burnished to the wall with smooth and even pressure, and then the backing is peeled off similar to temporary tattoos children use.
