Call it a match made in heaven – Egea has been one of Benchmark’s clients for over a decade!  The Evanston spa has refreshed their brand a few times, always bringing Benchmark back to do all their display work.  Benchmark has helped Egea grow their brand for the last 12 years.

Kathy and Chris Pappas, owners of the spa named after a Greek healing goddess, trust Benchmark for their window displays.  Recently, as the spa updated their website, they wanted refreshed graphics to further emulate the new look.

For this latest install, a variety of applications were used to create a three dimensional display in the outdoor windows.  Vinyl letters were mounted both to the glass and to the back wall of the windows.  Added depth was created by posting the logo and spa related images on a stiff substrate and mounted on pegs to separate the imagery from the background.

The new graphics incorporate a soothing blue to evoke the calming feeling water can bring.  The color is important because it matches the blue stripe that Egea is known for.  There’s deliberate different planes of the elements in the windows, so there’s motion as you walk past them; surfaces rise and fall just like waves of the ocean.  Kathy says this is her favorite part of the display as it adds depth to the imagery.
